My Rant About Something That Doesn't Exist Yet
The days until the announcement of the new iPhone are now minimal, yet geeks everywhere are still scrounging for every possible bit of info they can get. Steve Jobs is sitting in his house giggling with joy in his bed while he plays with his iPhone 4000 and rehearses his keynote lines. Asia is “leaking” fake photos of Apple devices for page hits and personal recognition.
But...

I really think the people who don’t quite understand the “motion magazine” are the same people who think the magazine medium should be gone altogether and be taken over by the Internet.
The difference is an experience where typography, narration, and visual story telling combine, which is far more difficult to do on a website.
With a digital...

Why you don't need more than 250MB on an iPad 3G
You open up your brand new iPad 3G from the box. The screen glistens, the Apple logo shines, and you’re left in awe as the glowing slate of glass pulls you in. You play with it at home for a day or so, not quite ready to expose it to the world, before deciding you should take it out on a field test; take it for a spin around town and let it see the sights.
But first, you have to make a...

Superpowers
I was camping last weekend and playing the mandatory “would you rather” game outside under the stars in a red and blue sleeping bag.
The just as mandatory, “Would you rather be able to fly or read people’s minds?” was one of the questions. I was excited by the unrealistic potential of choosing the ability to either hover or snoop around someone’s else’s...

Designing is grand.
There was a girl at the DMV.
She was really cute.
Suddenly she turned to someone she was with and spoke African.
She was really cute.
(psst, like my new Tumblr layout?)
I want a good, solid camera.
Yeah, I have one. A Panasonic Lumix LZ5 point and shoot, to be exact. But the bells and whistles are slowly falling into unexistance as I drool over the DSLRs coming out nowadays. They’re getting cheaper yet shinier. I want one that shoots video equally as well as photos. I want an ISO that’ll be kind enough to let me snap a photo at midnight in the middle of a war with ash and smoke...

I’m broker than a bag of glass
I think I'm going to redesign my tumblr again.
Just because I can. That and I’m also very indecisive.
My pocket system
I have a pocket system. Everything must go in the right pocket. Otherwise, the world will catch on fire around me, an angel loses it’s wings, and 27 car crashes happen within a mile of me per minute.
Left pocket: Reserved for my iPhone. Upside down, screen facing my leg. Easy access, yah know?
Right pocket: Everything else. Money, credit cards, even my wallet when I’m carrying...
